Re: Anyone having particularly unhelpful dealers?

However, asking and probing won't do any good so why bother, it won't speed up the factory? I know that. The problem is given everything I've had so far, I have absolutely zero faith that they will keep me informed. When I was told it was accepted by the factory, I only found that out after chasing...

Re: Anyone having particularly unhelpful dealers?

I feel your pain but it may not be the dealer’s fault. When I ordered my previous Skoda 6 years ago you were given a login to a website and then you could check yourself for status updates. Fast forward to ordering my Enyaq last year and I like you chased the dealer regularly for updates because I ...

Anyone having particularly unhelpful dealers?

One of the things that seems to be the case is the disparity between dealers. Some people here have had amazing service. Others... less so. Myself? Well I'm happy to name and shame Dennis Horton Skoda in Lincoln as easily the worst dealer I've ever dealt with, and that's as someone who has had a few...

Re: Tracking Delayed Enyaq Orders

An issue with the VRS details - those of us who have ordered the MY22 spec VRS have specs not listed in the dropdowns.

EDIT: Added the relevant options to the Data Validation sheet.

Re: Duration from Order to Uk Delivery - Your Experience?

I fear we may be in the same boat as you when ours arrives. Unconfirmed build week 47, ordered 7/12/21. I can’t remember what was included in the packs we ordered. Does anyone know how to access that info? I.E the brochure with the pack specs from December ‘21? I saved the speclist for the MY22 mod...

Re: How much are you paying for electricity at the moment?

EDF energy on an awesome yearly fixed-rate that is something like 17p, but that runs out in October and we're expecting the new rate to kick our ass.

Looks like Octopus is the current favourite, but we'll see if that's still the case in October.

Re: Electrifying . Com and the top 5 things they “HATE” about EV’s

It does rather annoy me that people buy EVs to do 'motorway miles', and then bitch about range. There's a mindset change that needs to happen that in an ICE car, motorway miles are good - you get better fuel economy, it's nicer on most components of the car, that sort of thing. But in an EV it's the...

Re: Duration from Order to Uk Delivery - Your Experience?

I just managed to get in touch with skoda regarding my23 options and the impact on current orders. According to the dealer: - existing customers that have ordered prior to 19th July will receive the options that they have paid for, nothing more. - iv60 my23 includes parking basic, but this will not...

MY22 and MY23 changes?

Plenty of talk recently about cars on order being built to 2023 specs rather than 2021 or 2022.

Does anyone know what the changes are, or where there's a good comparison of the two?

Many thanks in advance.

Re: Can it get too HOT for EV's

A quick google shows that actually, EV batteries can lose charge in hot weather. Tests have shown that temperatures over 30C can cause batteries to lose charge just as weather under 10C can too.

Apparently optimal temperatures are between 18C-26C. But if your car has a heat pump it should be fine.
