Re: What home charger are you considering?

I was waiting for my Octopus smart meter but when I emailed them and said I was getting solar installed and they needed a smart meter first they did it in 3 weeks. May be worth chasing them. Seems as if you just apply on line you join queue but if you have a reason they try and help.

Re: Enyaq Heat Pump & 125kw charging

It depends on a lot of things like state of battery- is it low, temperature etc. But I reckon a rough guide would be an hour at 50kw to go from 20-80% and about half that at 125kw. as against overnight on a home charger. However there is a lot that can affect it and charging slows down the more the ...

Re: Enyaq Heat Pump & 125kw charging

Heat pump depends on your circumstances. Its expensive and will probably make little difference in summer but will add range on a freezing winter day. So depends if you need regular long runs in winter. If your commute is only 100 miles round trip then probably not necessary. I don't think you can g...

I ...

Re: Skoda Enyaq iV SportLine joins line-up

Does this mean all AWD 80X's will be sportline. I hope not as the whole point of AWD for me is to be able to go off road a bit and I need the full ground clearance.

Re: Enyaq in showrooms

I phoned my dealership this week too. They said Spring (and phone again after Easter) which sounds like the same answer. They also said chance of a first edition in summer if you ordered now but otherwise or for any other model it would be 2022. Disappointingly they had no idea when the AWD 80X woul...

Looking for my first EV

A quick hello. I'm in UK and been a big fan of Rob's forums. Currently have a Skoda XC40 R design D4 AWD and have found that forum (and the Tiguan one before) really useful. Love the XC40 but looking for an EV next time. I need an AWD (my fishing involves lots of muddy fields and rough tracks) so wi...
