Re: Public charger availability
I think that you had the perfect storm. School holidays, and prime holiday travel route. I would think that travelling outside of peak times is your best bet. Google maps has a great feature that predicts how busy your route is likely to be at different times of day. I was hoping they'd do the same...

Public charger availability
We just completed our first long journey (London to Cornwall) where we'd planned to charge en-route at a public fast charger. We'd done several road trips previously where we charged at the destination carpark and it had worked well. All the fast chargers we'd earmarked and contingencies were busy a...

Charging cable theft deterrent stickers
I read a couple of recent articles about charging cables being a potential target for thieves and have decided to keep mine in the house when not in use. I figured I might as well deter people from breaking into my empty boot, but couldn't find anyone doing the equivalent of 'no tools kept overnight...

You need to pull the fuse to the infotainment system...some info on how to do that in another thread here:

Roundabout instructions on Android Auto (FIXED)
Hi For anyone using their phone for navigation with Android Auto, there's been a known bug with the roundabout instructions in the HUD / dashboard display. It always shows the visualisation for going all the way round and back on the same road. Google have fixed the bug recently in Google Maps and I...

Re: Assisted Drive Package ‘Basic’ vs. ‘Plus’
I've found the automatic speed limit recognition to be the most dodgy feature with ACC. It regularly tries to slow me down to lower limits signposted on side roads off the main road.
I'm still loving the automation but it's definitely not flawless.

To answer a few of your other questions: Satnav - it pairs with your mobile via Bluetooth and can use either Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. It also has a much clunkier built in satnav. Remote Aircon - it can do this but doesn't always work for me...the car has to be online and connected for this to ...

Re: Real world family drive - results
Also did our first longer drive last week...London to Bristol and back. Went from 100pc charge to 45pc one way. Got a free granny charge back to 100pc from the hotel so a very cheap run! We have an 80 so well within range but good to see it in real life at motorway speed. We saw a range difference o...
