Re: Which screen would you rather the Clima Button brought up first?

I never use it. Climate control stays on full auto for me. The most I do is occasionally change the temperature slightly, or use the demist button, neither of which involve the climate control screen.

Re: Why didn't the make the chrome pack standard

In a way it worked out better for me - if they hadn't taken the HUD option away, I would have had a Race Blue 80 Loft with standard headlights. I ended up with an 80 Sportline with a lot more kit due to things like matrix headlights, sport suspension, convenience etc being standard. So the packages ...

Re: This explains a lot !! High Winter electric usage.

Doesn't really sound like much of an issue to me. Yes it perhaps could be slightly better, but if it's heating the battery at 7C and below, that's fine, the battery will perform better if it's warm. I really don't care if the car could do a couple more miles to a full charge than it currently does. ...

Re: Battery capacity/variation on 80x

Estimated range is not a good indicator of battery capacity or state of charge. It is calculated from the known state of charge of the battery (which Skoda do not display on the instrument panel, yet), and the current average power consumption (mi/kWh). If you're driving along a motorway at a steady...

Re: Why didn't the make the chrome pack standard

Available options and combinations change every month, this is normal for many new cars. At the time I put together my spec (May 2020), I could have had a Loft interior with a HUD. But by the time I was ready to order (August 2020), the HUD was only available on Suite, EcoSuite and Sportline. So I h...

Re: Duration from Order to Uk Delivery - Your Experience?

Skoda do reveal a few things like this on their Twitter and Facebook pages, so if you use those platforms it's worth subscribing if you're interested. I could of course say that I've had my car for a couple of months so don't really care about what's happening with new orders, but I prefer to be hel...

Re: Duration from Order to Uk Delivery - Your Experience?

Skoda announced it a while back. It's everything built using an MEB platform constructed after Week 48. So pretty much anything that was started by Skoda in December 2021 or later. 80s go up to 135kW from next month. Existing models may also increase after the big software update due soon (as happen...

Re: Has anyone actually seen an Enyaq on the road yet?

To give some idea of numbers - Skoda announced their figures for 2021, and as the Enyaq started appearing on the roads in December 2020, gives a reasonable total figure. They have delivered just under 45,000 Enyaqs across Europe in 2021. 878,000 cars in total, the majority of which were Octavias. Th...

Re: Can watch videos when charging never knew.

There's a list of what audio and video file types are supported in the manual, in the section where it details how to play media from USB.

Picture and sound quality are pretty good - I've got a USB stick with a few films and TV shows in the centre console storage just in case I need it.

Re: Has anyone actually seen an Enyaq on the road yet?

I don't think so, the UK and Ireland have both exceeded the quotas that were set for 2021 Enyaqs a couple of times. So there are definitely as many Enyaqs on UK and Irish roads as Skoda were planning for there to be. However remember this is a new model, so they've only been trickling onto the roads...
