Re: Black Screen

I get the frustration, my car was one of the 2021 models with the bad battery cells and ended up at the dealership for 4 months waiting on parts. I just kept it positive and looked at the bright side... I put 7000miles of wear on someone elses tyres while my car was having its holiday. That said, i ...

Re: Slow AC charging with Ohme e-pod.

Sounds like the Ohme is limited to 16A for some reason? I dont think its possible to limit the car to 16A.

There is a setting in the car to limit charge current, worth checking that but i think it goes down to 8-10A if you use it.

yeah i think thats auto-high beam that your getting the indicator for, not just the normal "lights on" indicator?

My car doesnt have auto-high beam, but from memory driving the loaner, i think you can switch it on and off using the stalk on the left?

Re: Charging frustrations

I've had this issue - I got a message to say my car was at 100% before charging was meant to start. The guidance I was given on this forum was: - plug in - walk round to the passenger door (car has started charging) - lean in and click "stop charging" on the display Seems to work really w...

Re: Front Lights Problems and need advice on a New Enyaq 85x

I've never seen a green indicator on the dash showing the lights are on? The green indicator on my car is on the headlight control itself, on a small panel to the right of the steering wheel

Maybe its different on 2024 models though?

Re: Power Steering Fuse

Many cars have a seperate high-power fuse box for certain circuits that doesnt go near the main fuse boxes. On the Enyaq, I think this fuse box is on top of the battery itself, a sort of black plasticy housing thing thats connected to the positive terminal. The PAS fuse is inside there. https://fuse...

Re: Electric drive not working correctly. Please visit workshop

The warning message is just a generic warning, equivalent to the engine management light coming on on an older car. It could mean anything. Clearly if the cars losing power and cutting out then theres an actual glitch. This thread has somewhat meandered quite away off its original track, which was a...

Re: New tyres dilema

I have premium contact 6's on the back and they're pretty decent. Fronts are the original bridgestones but knackered so will be getting replaced when the summer wheels go back on. Oddly the Premium Contact 6 doesnt seem to be available in the front size of 235/50r20 :( Current thinking is the Michel...

Re: Battery Protection Limit

I've been fiddling about with an ESP32, but happened to ask a colleague at work who also recommended that Lascar module. The plus being its ready to go, the negative being its 30quid and i already have the ESP32's on hand.

I'll see how i get on with the ESP32 first i think.
