I have a personal lease through Bridle Group and the original delivery date was 1st September.
I've just been advised the new date (which is not garunteed) is the 22nd of October.
Reason given was the global microchip shortage.

All emergency services have dabbled in electric vehicles and most do have some, but there's no way they could replace their fleets enmasse until they are much quicker to charge.

Another company I've bought from before is Rhino who are also in Leicester (are all boot liner makers in Leicestershire?)
It could be worth giving them a a call if you live in the area.

Personally I think the black looks better than the chrome.

I think it will be a while before a majority of emergency vehicles go fully electric.
After all, many police and ambulance vehicles can be on the move almost constantly over 24 hours and can't necessarily be parked up for an hour to charge.
