Who was that with Nicky?

Re: Insurance costs!

I ended up with Aviva, they were the ones at £614 but ironically Adrian Flux just called after my online quote saying they could probably do better on the phone, they came back with £820!!!!! I looked for the company that were providing that service to Vanarama and yep, they only do fleet insurance!...

Insurance costs!

I'm just coming up to my first year of having the car and as such the insurance is due too! When I first got the car I did some hunting and got my insurance for circa £450. My car is a lease car through Vanarama and shortly after getting my quote elsewhere they called me and asked if they could give...

Re: Frozen headlights

I always find the "warm hand" approach works best for me! They're not that warm afterwards though!

Re: Max button for clearing screen

I have none either, I do run my airco summer and winter so there is no chance of condensation. Ahh, I'm from Yorkshire so I'm tighter than an otters pocket, therefore I don't put the aircon/heating until its about 5° outside! That's what jumpers are for my dad Ince told me! I mainly get condensatio...

Re: Max button for clearing screen

24 seems higher than needed? I have mine set to 20 which is fine with winter clothes on? If you have them use heated seat and steering wheel instead. Wheel only needs to be on lowest power for a few minutes, seat slightly longer, but compensates for a cooler cabin, particularly if travelling alone....

Re: Max button for clearing screen

MAX runs the heater at full power, not the fan. It reduces the range because with it on MAX the heater will just keep pumping out heat constantly and thus using power constantly. With MAX off, it reverts to normal climate control where the heater output varies depending on cabin temperature etc. On...

Max button for clearing screen

I just happened to notice the other day that when using the max button to clear my screen that when you open the clima screen on Info system there's still 2 more fan speeds left to go even when max button is pressed so you can get even more air onto the windscreen by not using the max button but by ...

Re: My Skoda app and Skoda connect issues

Yep, I had my friend contact me in a panic as he's just bought an Audi e tron on Tues on my recommendation of getting an EV! As we all did, he's a bit jittery when something doesn't work as it should regarding EVs. Told him to have a cuppa, sit down and try later. I then checked my enyaq via the app...

Re: Auto lights

I also tried the free trial of the high beam assist thingy, thank god it only lasted a month! Took too long for them to switch off so kept getting flashed, also it didn't recognise lights in the distance particularly rear lights which meant I had to turn them off manually so pointless!
