Re: Any luck with video on the tablet screen?
If you have an Android phone and use Android Auto you can muck about with AAAD to get video apps working through Android Auto: Thanks for that. I thought I'd try before replying but to this point while the base AAAD and a trial screen mirror seem active on the phone, no joy yet on Android auto on t...

Re: Hello and some context
Enjoy the new car. Great choice of colour. Unlike the Dyane, you'll squirt up the hill in no time. One point of interest on the tow bar preparation which I also spec'd, not really feeling the need of swinging electronics. No problem with the order. But now I cant find a suitable bit of metal to bolt...

Any luck with video on the tablet screen?
It's a fairly sure bet, given it's SUV form, that many people buying/ interested in the Enyaq will have families and with those all the attached the dropping/ collecting duties. So plenty time spent parked outside random schools/ halls/ clubs. So with a generous tablet screen, I had reasonable hope ...

Charge port cover
IMG_20210716_183725.jpg Interested in views on the charge port. A few will be lucky to have a pod point or similar guaranteed dry in a garage. But I guess I'm amongst many with an outdoor port that mean the car will be on overnight charge outside and the site and design of the charge point means th...

Re: Impulse buy...
Agree with many of those points. I also prefer arms to lift tailgates etc, they've not broken yet. . I would play up the utility of the steering wheel paddles. For those that like manual control (and even those that do have adaptive cruise control presumably dont have it on all the time), the Enyaq/...

Re: Dad says hello!
The cocker will be very comfortable- our Springer certainly is. For interest on the LR Disco Sport, the boot on the Enyaq although larger is slightly less flexible in that the rear seats cant slide forward. Our dog cage (keeping wet spaniel off the seats) which fits for and aft in the discovery can ...

Re: Mud flaps
I did get the mudflaps, front and rear. Living on a farm lane, I see how mucky wife's Discovery gets. They did appear on the Skoda configurator for me back in Feb but the dealer later clarified that they are fitted after arriving at the dealership in the UK, so likely available to add as an option l...

Re: Recuperation control via steering wheel paddles
it's better not to apply any braking and just coast: coasting is the most efficient as there is no conversion needed between motion and electrical power. The coasting point is a good one and helpful. Driving to work and back today that seems to make the paddles even more helpful. I spec'd a car str...

Re: MySKODA app
If you're charging from an ac charger, then it's safe to charge to 100%, as it takes long enough that the battery won't get excessively hot and the BMU has time to balance the cells. It's only really if rapid charging (ie more than 20kW) that you should stop at 80%. The Skoda owner's manual is a bi...

Recuperation control via steering wheel paddles
Wonder if anyone else has had problems getting satisfactory use from the recuperation paddles. By default whatever level you set gets wiped out by returning to 'auto' every time you touch the accelerator which is frustrating. But usefully this default can be switched off making the paddles much more...
