Re: The key fob LED flashes when the doors are shut. I wonder why?

If you put the key down when your inside it will stop flashing after a while if it’s not moved The dealer told us it does this when it recognises the car in its range. If you walk further away it stops. Both of the above and as others have explained the car uses a mix of tech to know the key is in ...

Re: MyŠKODA - Activate Vehicle

Back up again now. Everyone please message/vent your anger at the infoline ( infoline@skoda-auto.cz ) or Herbert Diess on Twitter (he has just taken over CARIAD which is VW Group software arm, claims he is big into tech), as they need know that selling these cars as connected and then not providing ...

Have you tried pulling fuses 19 and 30 to reset the infotainment/eSIM?

Re: Power tailgate

Works fine with the towbar and you dont need to be in a specific part of the bumper either (as we were incorrectly told by our salesman). What we've found you need to do is stand much further back than you might think, so that the bottom of your shin is just about touching the bumper when you end th...

Re: My Skoda app (on android phone).

Clearing the data and app cache is what I was told fixed it, but a reinstall effectively does the same.

Re: Software Updates

Skoda confirmed to me on Twitter that OTA update will come with the release of the ENYAQ Coupe in Q2 2022. They didn't categorically rule out other updates until then but I can't see us getting any. We are currently on version - 0795 - which is somewhere between the ID cars v2.1 (0792) and v2.3 (091...

Re: I think I understand Ionity and Skoda PowerPass 🤞

So just realised that I might be able to use it in a few weeks time, so I've subscribed. It's said the subs is until 19/11/2022 so will give you a year from whenever you start it, not from the date you bought the car. Whether you can wait upto a year before signing up I dont know but it gives you so...

Re: I think I understand Ionity and Skoda PowerPass 🤞

Does anyone know if you have to redeem the free subscription immediately? We will not be doing any more long journeys this year so the subscription would be about 3 months old by the time we would need to use it (can charge at home for pennies) and would just be wasted I remember reading you have u...

Re: How useful is Regen really?

You can't get around the laws of physics. It will always take more energy to get the car moving than you'll get back in regen. So it makes sense to keep as much momentum going as possible when driving, being more efficient to 'coast' up behind other cars that may be stopped so you don't have to full...

Re: Charging to 100% at home on 7kW charger.

Charging curve for those interested. You can see it is above 7kW the whole time so charging at home it will never slow down. Even on a rapid charger of 50kW, on an iV80 you will see over 25kW to 100%. https://support.fastned.nl/hc/article_attachments/4402417329809/_Chargecurve_Skoda_Enyaq_IV_Fastned...
