I've had the standard version third rock cable for almost 2 years now and its always done the job for me
Definitely get something at least 10m - I've often wished my 10m cable was even longer... but this length has worked well to 'borrow' a charge from friends, holiday cottages etc

Re: Service costs
My service reminder on the dash has always had a countdown on it (software ver 2.something) and start giving me a reminder to get booked in with 40 days to go, based on a 2 year schedule (I've done 27 000 miles) Its a lease car and the leasing companies are clearly agreeing with the sentiment of thi...

Re: getting 220 miles to show on the clock at 100% charge?
To be fair, the range indication on my current car - a petrol VW Tiguan - does this too. It’s entirely possible that I will actually end a journey with more indicated range than I started it with, just due to that journey being a gentle motorway cruise, rather than lots of stop start acceleration a...

Re: Carwow
Interesting watch. Was pleasantly surprised by how little impact people in the car made, although thinking about it compared to the 2t weight of the car, it's not that much more. Overall though I'm surprised by the low figures compared to my experience over the 8000 miles I have now done in my ix80 ...

Re: best 3 pin portable car charger
I have this https://thirdrockenergy.co.uk/products/type-2-ev-portable-charger-13a-250v-10-metre And have used it quite a bit as my car arrived 3 months early! And I had to wait for my 7kw to be installed Its a bit more expensive than the screwfix one (which was out of stock when I bought) Charges co...

Yes, delete home.
The charger software does not need any help (interference) from the car for smart charging

Re: Charge issues
Delete all, and start all over. Add then only one thing at the time - don’t make 10 changes, then try. Two intelligent apps and devices trying to make everything smart, throws out all logic if not used carefully. Best of luck, you will get there! Agreed. I have this app and charger. What I would do...

Re: What do you think so far?
I'm hopping over here from a PHEV forum so I have the infrastructure thing sorted - more or less. (I have a 60 on order and coming to me at the end of the month.) Your starter for ten : do you have charging facilities either at home and, if working, at work? Alternatively are there facilities nearb...

Re: Lane assist / Plus
Is the comment above correct? Other than the emergency assist, the products appear identical and I don't know how the assisted drive on the basic version could be any better. It follows the road and adapts speed to bends on all but the most minor country lanes. I use it all the time and I constantl...
