Re: Had a brand new Skoda Enyaq a week, help with scheduled charging please-
I guess it depends on what home charger you have. We have a Podpoint, which can be scheduled on the app. Sometimes it doesn't work, though, and has to be reset by switching off and on at the mains.

Warning: software update disables driver assist if you have a non-factory towbar
Dear Skoda, I took my Enyaq into Skoda in Worthing to have the air conditioning fixed and was told you were supplying a complete software update. When this was done, all the driver assist systems were disabled. After long investigations, it turned out that this was a coding problem caused by the fac...

Re: Completely frustrated by the inability to fit a bike rack
Well, yes, caveat emptor, . . . On the other hand, it should be a basic facility. You don't read the manual to see whether the car has four wheels.

Re: Towing with Electric SUV
I just posted this on another thread: This is really unbelievable, but apparently we can't fit a standard bike rack to the back of the Enyaq IV we have just bought. It turns out we need a towbar. BUT, even more unbelievable, some Enyaq IV units come with the wiring to fit a towbar, and some don't. O...

Re: Climatronic
We have a new Enyaq IV. I don't know what air con spec we have, but it did rather fail to keep us cool on those very hot days a couple of weeks ago. One of our sons, a physicist, says it takes a lot more energy to cool air down than it does to move a car along, so perhaps that is why the output is l...

Speed limiter is a real faff
Does anyone else find the speed limiter a real faff. As far as I can see, you have to use the right hand lever to turn on the cruise control / speed limiter and then switch from the former to the latter (which is slightly dangerous as the default is cruise control), then you have to go to the left h...

Re: Pod Point EV poor service
Just be careful, as the Podpoint installers, Energize UK, wanted to charge us £240 over and above the standard price, because the run is longer than specified. We have negotiated it down to £220 so far, but have raised the matter with Podpoint, because we think this was not properly explained in adv...
