Re: 3.0 update - Bricked my car

Out of nowhere the car is back and working!

Well pleased to have it back, they also fixed the puddle lights which had gone on the blink.

We shall see if I notice any difference being on 3.0

Re: 3.0 update - Bricked my car

Still no car :(

Looks like it’s caught in the same chip shortage as new orders are.

Re: 3.0 update - Bricked my car

Appreciate all empathy folks. I was expecting a few issues, but not to brick the car! Anyway, it’s sat there at Skoda waiting parts. Hopefully it won’t be too long 🙄. Real shame as first 17k miles have gone really well. The Cupra loan car makes a lot of noise, seats are poor and the virtual dashboar...

Re: 3.0 update - Bricked my car

Nah, this was the update for those of us with MEB cars prior to 3.0. Had to be done in garage

3.0 update - Bricked my car

So the car went in today for the 12v battery and 3.0 update. My enyaq is now at 17k miles and aside from the puddle lights going on the blink it’s been really good. Now sadly it’s bricked and sat at Heritage in Bristol waiting on a new computer. Apparently half way through update it all went on the ...

Re: Flooded roads

An EV will go through flood water, but remember wading depth can be limited by when the water comes into the car! It’s not a very high riding vehicle

Re: Now you've seen one in real life, is the Enyaq bigger, smaller or exactly as you expected?

It’s a bit shorter than my outgoing passat, and boot is a smidge smaller - but the overall interior space is much bigger.

I find it easier to thread through traffic than the passat and mrs westy reckons parking is miles easier to.

Oh and those 19 inch wheels are pretty hard to scuff as well!!!!

Re: Has anyone actually seen an Enyaq on the road yet?

Been in Cornwall for the last week in my 80, found it to be a mainly stress free week with some chargers in useful spots - I wasn’t down Lizard way mind. Also filled up to 90% at Exeter services. Blimey my economy was epic all week as well :) Saw a few 60’s down there including two race blues. On wa...

Re: Thanks to all contributors

Had the Enyaq since October, the over riding sensation is of it just being easy day to day. You jump in stick it in drive and potter about, good visibility, easy steering for a big car, quick enough to nip in front of stuff etc etc. The Mrs loves it and nabs it for any longer journeys (I don’t moan ...
