Don't buy GAP insurance from a dealer. Plenty of on-line placed to buy it much much cheaper.
The FCA is currently preventing underwriting of any new GAP schemes because of outrageous profiteering, pending an enquiry.

I don't have that problem - have you discussed it with the dealer?

Re: GivEnergy EVC - Utterly useless
My brother had a Givenergy battery system and solar/battery inverter system installed and it performed so badly when compared against my Lux/Pylontech system that he had it pulled out. The main issue was software bugs meaning it didn't work properly.

Re: Charging rates
From a 150Kw charger, I was looking for 150Kw or close. Not 50 or 60Kw. Is that unrealistic? Yes, completely unrealistic. Look at the charge curve for your car to see (scroll down to see the Fastned graph): https://ev-database.org/uk/car/1280/Skoda-Enyaq-iV-80#charge-table The max you can get is 14...

Re: Discounts
I was at the dealer a couple of weeks ago and enquired. The sales guy said 4 months for delivery for build-to-order, but they had plenty of showroom stock, pre-registered and ex-demo cars on the system. how is heat pump . worthwhile or wate of money? The heatpump is excellent. I've previously drive...

Re: Charging rate limited to 3kwh with ohme
I find the car integration to be unreliable. The mobile signal to car isn't great and the car refuses to use the WiFi for this (apparently). To make it work more reliably I set the charger to 'timed' 11.30 to 5.30. That way, if OIG doesn't react to the charger activation (through either Octopus or S...

Re: Enyag 80 2021 3.0 OTA 3.1/3.2 or 3.x will we experience it?
I had the puddle lights updated yesterday and the dealer did a "body control module" update (22GB apparently).
They said that this was really part of the update to 3.0, and was too big for an OTA.

Re: Enyaq 85x Ordered
I was at the dealer yesterday and he said new orders now coming through in 4 month, but plenty of dealer stock, pre registrations and demonstrators.
