The dealer can do nothing about it. The only way we can get any movement is to apply pressure to Skoda UK's customer support and make them understand that we are angry that we have received defective vehicles, are suffering increased cost of ownership and missing functionality and we want it sorted ...

My experience of driving EVs for over 8 years now is that many drivers (specifically of the Leaf) slightly over-inflate by a couple of pounds.

I have only charging, climate and departure planning in my app. Nothing of door locking, parking lights, doors and windows.

I have ambient lighting in my Lounge model. It strikes me as a complete waste of time and space.
My granddaughter enjoys playing with it when we are waiting in the car - she set it to purple and yellow this morning. I'm not sure what the point is if you are over 5 years old.

The UK really got the design very wrong... In fact, the UK did have a system that would do that, designed by Thorn. It was running back in the 1990s, using spread spectrum power line comms. But it required a comms unit back at the substation and the electricity industry wouldn't put up the investme...
