I've not got my Enyaq yet but on my Tiguan it works best when you do a sweep motion with your foot, rather than a kick motion - if you sweep you foot under the rear bumper across the middle 1/3 of the car it usually works for me.

I think you're absolutely right Goaty - it doesn't add much, but it stops waste. Also I guess its still a benefit that was greater with early PHEVs and EVs where the battery was smaller - if you gained back 2 or 3 miles from regen in a PHEV then its probably a 10% increase in your electric range, wh...
