Re: Duration from Order to Uk Delivery - Your Experience?
I am going to leave it until Monday to decide, but will probably cancel. My order was placed in November, but has not even accepted by Skoda. It is safe to assume that clearing the back orders for 80s will take a few months, then it would be months more before mine would be built, so probably well i...

Re: Duration from Order to Uk Delivery - Your Experience?
No orders of the 60 to be taken from Monday, and those who have already ordered but who have not been given a build date are going to face a long wait!

Re: Andersen Charger
Andersen charger now installed. It has been a painfully slow process, both because it was a non-standard install with a very complex cable run, and because they were overwhelmed by demand due to the end of the Government grant: I missed out on that by 4 days! So it was painful and expensive, but I d...

Trade in values can go up as well as down in the present market. Our trade in is not fixed, but I am hoping that we won’t suffer much, and may even gain.

Re: What do you carry in your Enyaq?
Ours needs to be suitable for a 60 kilo dog. That means low enough for her to jump in, big enough for her to turn around and lie down, and high enough for her to sit without hitting the roof. The Enyaq is the only EV we could find to meet this challenge, as well as getting great reviews anyway. If t...

Re: Does anyone else get a soaked arm when they first drive off with the window open ?
This happens on my Jaguar XK, due to the shape of the door. I haven’t taken delivery of my Enyaq yet, but in the case of the Jaguar it was largely avoided if the window was only open half an inch or so. However, that probably wouldn’t be enough to allow you to hear pedestrians. We have a similar sit...

Re: Is Enyaq your first Skoda
I had a Skoda Superb Estate a few years ago. A really excellent car, with incredible legroom in the rear seats, and a huge estate area to accommodate our giant breed dog (Leonberger). The only issue was with the automatic gearbox: amazingly smooth, so you really couldn’t detect gear changes, but it ...

Re: Any concerns with long term parking?
I have been thinking about this. My daughter and family live in New Zealand, and we go there every other year for two months. We leave our present cars on CTEK battery conditioners, which ensures that the batteries are fully charged when we get back, but an EV is a totally different proposition! If ...

Re: Andersen Charger
Thanks Sinclair_C5. That is very encouraging! Our house is the same age as yours. The electricity meter and fuse box are in a tank cupboard at first floor level, and the cable will need to be run down inside a non-structural wall, then under the floor across a short landing, before going through the...
