Re: Duration from Order to Uk Delivery - Your Experience?

So I was in my local dealer again today and was chatting to the salesman I've been dealing with when I placed the order for my new Kodiaq (ordered 2 Oct 21, build week 10 allocated, expected delivery late April/early May). I had a good look around the brand new Enyaq 80X Sportline they've just got i...

Re: Tow Bar electrics

Got my Enyaq on Monday and have just fitted my back rack to the tow bar only to find the plug on the rack doesn’t fit into the tow bar electrics! Don’t see any options for electrics in the tow bar option. Anyone know what it comes with? On my 2019 Kodiaq there was a 13/7 conversion plug in the boot...

Re: Enyaq Forum - more advert intrusion lately?

I'm on an Android device so any one have a suggestion? Try this: https://adblockplus.org/android-install It's an Android App afaik that you would use instead of your normal browser on your Android device. It's from the people who make ABP for desktop, so would think it's pretty good at blocking ads...

ChangoMutney wrote: Wed Jan 12, 2022 5:48 pm Do people here think that if you ordered after the spec change, in my case the 8th Dec, I've already paid for the upgraded charging option, or will I be expecting a £440 bill for 125Kw?
125kW charging is now standard on the Enyaq iV 80.

Re: Enyaq Forum - more advert intrusion lately?

+1 for ABP on a Macbook Pro using Firefox. No ads or popups at all.

That said, I guess the owners need to at least have some means of making the site pay for itself. Sounds like it's previously not been making enough or else it's a case of just now aiming to maximize the profits...

Re: Car Theft and Connected Cars

Not sure it's that useful as it currently works as my understanding is that it's based on an eSIM built into the car - if the thieves are technologically minded enough to steal an Enyaq in the first place, then it's probably not beyond them to either re-programme or otherwise block the eSIM signal. ...

Re: Popped Tyre

MyTyres.co.uk are showing Scorpion Elects in stock: https://www.mytyres.co.uk/rshop/tyre/Pirelli/Scorpion/235-50-R20-100T------AO--Elect--Seal-Inside/R-413204 Alternatively you could replace both front tyres with something else, for example some Enyaqs come with Hankook Ventus S1 evo3 in that size....

Re: Popped Tyre

Guess it depends how hung up you are on getting exactly the same tyre as a replacement. The Pirelli 'Elect' range was developed specifically for electric cars (low rolling resistance, low road noise, good initial grip according to Pirelli's own blurb). There's even a PZero Elect specifically for the...

Re: ACC auto speeding.

I'm not sure I see the problem with speed limiters as long as the technology works properly... And there's the problem right there - it's not reliable enough just now given that people have posted above where their cars think the limit is either 80mph (impossible in the UK) or 15mph on a motorway (...
