Re: Scotland Road trip
Every council has its own rules, Dundee is max 70 minutes at a rapid then a £10 charge there after but it seems to only be a single charge not a "per hour" it's the same at fast chargers but you get 180 minutes to charge.

Re: Scotland Road trip
I can understand the 40 min limit on a say 150kW and above but the 50kW CPS units I have never had above 45ish kW at all the different sites I've been to even when they are empty.
I does stop them being hogged though so I can understand it in that context.

Re: Infotainment/Android Auto weirdness
I've got the AA issues my Pixel 6 Pro some times without issue connects bit some days it won't connect then I'll try do it manually and it'll say unable to connect after a.minite or so. Next time I get in it's 50/50 if it'll connect or not. I'm blaming it on the current AA release and possible Pixel...

Re: Scotland Road trip
Forthside Way in Sterling has several 50 Kw chargers & a very nice cafe. Also limited to 40 minutes, don’t know if you’d get away with swapping chargers after 40 mins? The one free charger in Stirling is in the station staff car park & so not accessible to the public ☹️ No they have a no re...

Re: Scotland Road trip
We used Stirling Park & Ride Rapid on our way home from Inversnaid today, bit annoying your only allowed 40 minutes on a rapid specially when you genuinely only get 30/38kW charge from them. The RFID really is a must, for a one of £10 fee get it as it gives you access to all of the chargers no m...

Re: Latest Software
How could anyone charge by time, input rate depends on what is already in battery! Time only becomes a factor if you leave plugged in once charged, preventing use by another, as Tesla chargers do. If you read the Powerpass charges in most places in Europe they are charged on time basis. Very weird ...

Re: Skoda Enyaq 60 IV charging help
I noticed the car is not always happy when a non-live cable is plugged in. I tend not to use the PP schedule. I have one set to a random 15 minutes period per day, just in case anyone might try charging while I'm at work. The PP app is easier now, though, and I switch it to manual mode before plugg...

As above, set preferred charge times in the car and away it went at 7kW all night last night so to me cars not happy sitting waiting for the Pod it seems.

Re: Skoda Enyaq 60 IV charging help
Just for an FYI - I used the PP schedule last night to top up the Enyaq between 0000 & 0500 looking at my solar monitor the car only charged at 4kW~ but when I restarted it this morning to finish off it went a 7kW~ Now I know there are no high loads within my property enough to alter the charge ...
