Re: Powerpass

I used the Ionity charger at the Chester Porsche Centre a few days ago (max 350Kwh chargers) and it was a good experience made even sweeter by the 25p PowerPass rate! It charged at about 80Kwh which was noticeably faster than Gridserve.

It would be great to see more of these rolled out in the UK.

Gridserve tariff increased from today

Drove from the North West to Berkshire today and noticed that the Gridserve price had increased 30% from 30p to 39p pKW.

It is slightly more for their super fast chargers (350Kwh) up to 45p.

I checked Google and there is a story to confirm this today.

Just use your husband’s username and password. You will then be able to use the app on multiple devices.
This is what we do.

Re: Domestic electricity tariffs - 2022 price cap changes

Bryan, that’s a good point. The issue may be how much your overall energy bill goes up... not just the EV part. Tony seems to be the winner on quite a long term fixed tariff! April will be interesting. Will solar panels become more compelling? Payback period of your initial investment doesn’t quite ...

Domestic electricity tariffs - 2022 price cap changes

I thought I’d start a separate thread to discuss electricity tariffs and the potential increase when the price cap changes in April due to the energy crisis. Also applicable if your fixed rate deal expires this year… are you concerned what your new tariff will be? When we ordered our Enyaq, we assum...

Re: What are we getting kwh in cold weather.

Our predicted range is only 140 miles at 88% battery at the moment. This is following a 20 mile each way trip to Reading yesterday at around 1 degree temp and stop start most of the way. Short stop/start drives seem the most inefficient. If I drive to the local park which is about 2.5 miles away or ...

First ever Skoda for us too. We were looking for a larger EV before we took the plunge to go electric.

Re: Car going to garage after 2 weeks use

Good luck with getting it resolved. Hopefully it’s something straight forward to fix once they find the cause. I wonder if the dealerships have dedicated EV technicians yet?

Keep us posted.
