Re: Upgrading charging on a used Enyaq 60

Yes you can upgrade the standard 50kW up to I think it's 120kW on the 60 though an overpriced trip to your local dealer. But be aware that you will not get 120kW I till the battery SOC is below 15% (unless this has changed in V3) and will only happen for a.short period of charging. Unless your doing...

Re: home charging

Many thanks for the useful update, good to know, though annoying if VW and/or PP are aware but are doing nothing about it? PP are aware of it, as you have the issue you most likely have an Arch 2.4 or older PCB. The newer iterations Arch 3 and above solve the issue. Thanks again for the info BioHzr...

Re: Tripping

Well that was my next plan. Yesterday I put it on a 7kw public and it didn’t charge as much as I thought it would. God knows what it is If you have another EV a d your having no charging issues with that vehicle (as long as it's pulling 7kW & not a hybrid pulling 3.6kW) then I would be suspecti...

Re: 12V boot socket & Fuse 52 issue.

Moving the fuse position won't change the way the 12v socket acts you would need to change the wiring to do this. Your bear option is to find a circuit within the glove box Fuse Box that has a "Switched" live and connect your Dash cam to this with a fuse tap like the image below. Can be fo...

Re: Tripping

The Matt:E device is PEN fault protection so if it's tripping it's seeing an issue potentially with the supply. If it's just an RCD tripping out it may be a faulty unit needing replaced under warranty. In any case of your unit is tripping out you should be contacting the installer/company to investi...

Re: Octopus Intelligent - can't get full charge

There are to many variables to pin point and point the finger at.

My impression was the Octopus "take control" of the charging so could it be a conflict with the fact you have a schedule set on the Zappi ?

Potentially could be an unreliable WiFi connection ?

Re: 120kW charging seems a dream

This reminds me when my proxy Citroen had a satnav while my friend was using a cassette adaptor in his Passat to listen music. I think that Vag group thinks it can pull the same stunt now, but i think they might fail soon. I was lucky enough that my car had this option prepaid but the 50kW charging...

Re: home charging

Are you using the Pod Point scheduler within the app ? Yes, I think it is the Pod Point Scheduler that limits the current if it detects high usage? [/quote] No the scheduled doesn't adjust the charging current that's done by the Fuse Saver but a known issue with VW Group cars and the PP app schedul...

Re: home charging

I have found that the home charging unit will try to draw 7KW but if it detects there is a request on your electric supply from other devices it will only draw what it thinks is safe e.g. If I am running my dishwasher and washing machine out of hours, to make use of the cheaper tariff, my PodPoint ...
