Re: New car

Nice colour superspur. Enjoy.
I have a Mode button on my 2021 80 Suite. Can also be selected on the screen. I thought it was std too.

Re: Constant software bugs even after updates compensation?

Since the update, I just can't get anywhere near the range that I used to. I reckon i'm 10 to 15% down.

Re: Any other EV models tickle your fancy?

Looks to me like Fisker are the game changing EV's at the moment. The Ocean looks fantastic to me and great value. Just buying a car without a dealer network in place the only concern.

Re: Hello All

Welcome.
I have an 80 and keep hearing how well the 60's do for range and given the difference in price, i'd do some more research on this Forum and evaluate if you really need the 80.

Either way, Enjoy. It is an excellent car except for the occasional tech bugs.

Re: Best tyres for the 80 sportsline

I have the Hankook Ventus 20" tyres and after 17000 miles I have 4.5mm left on the fronts and 2.8mm on the rears so theyve done quite well so far I'd say.
I will however be asking for the Michelin cross climates as I feel the car is not safe in icy conditions.

Re: Proud Owner

Congratulations Silversurfer. Just watch out for the electrics/screen glitches. Sometimes screen and/or sunroof does not respond (very annoying when the heating is on and you are boiling or need to use Sat Nav / Stereo). I haven't had an issue since I had the software update a month or so ago. I thi...

Video 1 shows method and 2 cleaning kits below. Very expensive options but they are the best (Geist is a newer company set up by Ram of Colourlock - See video 2). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6NVB57646I https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XLftz0kBd1g https://www.colourlock.co.uk/Care-Kit-for-New-Lea...

Re: 400 miles

Im now getting 320 miles-ish. I never use A/C. I find I get much better on A roads and around town but as soon as I hit a motorway at 70 - 75mph my kw/h starts to dive. I have my software update next week so hoping the range improves as yours has.

Re: Interested in the enyaq but nervous about switch to electric

The 20" wheels don't get curbed. I know because I let my wife drive it and they are still mint!. The tyre walls stick out further than the edge of the rim so they are wife friendly 8-)
