Re: Enyaq now available as beta on Octopus Intelligent

Hi, I have been looking at Intelligent Octopus myself as my GO Faster ends next month. As others have said Go Faster is no longer offered so we have only been offered a 4 hour Go window starting at 0030 rather than the 5 hour start at 2330 we currently have. To answer Nicky P above. No.1the Octopus ...

Re: Charger - Bidirectional - V2G // V2H ?

Hi Iagus It’s the new software update for the Enyaq. Owners are as of today receiving an email about it. The email also describes what the software changes are. It’s a dealer visit one will contact you to arrange. Apparently once this software update is done any further updates will be OTA ( Over Th...

Re: Latest German ME3 update news

Beat me to it, just received the same email!. Whilst I am on, just been quoted £33.50 from my Skoda dealer to fit a Nextbase dash cam. I am supplying the cam plus the rear camera that plugs into the camera rather than the separate rear window fix one. The price quoted includes the cost of the hard w...

Re: Full time granny charging

I have been using a granny charger ( Third Rock from the Sun make) for several months to put excess solar pv generation into the car. This has worked well albeit the plug sometimes got warm so I was checking it regularly. We have just swapped the old non smart 7kw charger for a Myenergi Zappi which ...

Re: BP Pulse/Chargemaster Enyaq compatibility

We have the BP 7kw Chargemaster unit for our Outlander PHev. They did two versions 3.5 and 7 kw. It charged our Enyaq at the full 7kw. The only problem with that charger was that the smart charging functions didn’t work, we never ever got access to the Chargemaster website and our useage information...

Re: Charging speed

If the foregoing advice doesn’t work things out for you- email Ohme. My Ohme charger didn’t initially charge at 7.kw, even though the car would charge at that speed on friends home chargers. That was because Ohme didn’t at that time (Nov 2021) have Skodas API. Ohme did get my charger working properl...

Re: 13 Amp ‘Granny Charger’.

Thanks Orrery I was coming around to that view myself but wanted to make sure it wasn’t wishful thinking! I am pretty sure that it’s a combination of keeping a battery at 100% for a long time ie not using it and additionally regular charging to that level on a rapid charger that causes the real prob...

Re: 13 Amp ‘Granny Charger’.

Another thumbs up for the 3rd Rock Energy granny charger, we use it to divert excess electricity from our solar rather than let it go back to the grid. As an aside I understand why we shouldn’t really exceed 80% charge unless going on a long journey but it is frustrating to let “free” electricity go...

Re: Did Skoda Invite You?

I got the email on 21 April, did the online questionnaire and the last bit stated that they would come back to selected participants after the weekend. I haven’t heard anything but don’t expect to do so as I had critical things to say (in a constructive way) about the scheduled charging issues and a...
