Re: Running costs
Ricky, using the IO tariff of 7.5p to calculate the running costs is absolutely fair. The days of having a cheap off peak rate means your peak rate is pushed up have gone (on Octopus anyway). Our peak rate with Octopus is almost identical to the standard tariff. Also we have moved as much of our dom...

Re: Service costs
Would the dealer be expected to do the ME2 to ME3 update as part of the two year service (for free)?

Re: Car broken into… (or was it?)
There are stories on the Next Door forum of a spate of car break ins in our area where the mode of entry is via the wing mirrors!?! Apparently the crims can unlock the central locking by manipulating the wing mirror wires that can be accessed if you pull the cover off on some cars. Anyone heard of t...

Re: Car settings preventing scheduled charging?
IMG_0784.png After you get the push notification, does your screen look like this in the Ohme app? I.e. the Smart Charging title? If yes then it seems something is interfering with the setup such as a schedule(s) on the car or another schedule on the Ohme app. The schedules in the car are not obvio...

Re: Car settings preventing scheduled charging?
I have the Ohme and IO and if you search for the thread on Ohme and intelligent octopus you will see how I set mine up after a few issues. Couple of questions. 1. Does your Octopus app confirm you are on the IO tariff? 2. If yes to above, did you set up Octopus to connect to your Ohme charger or the...

Re: EV Depreciation
I was planning to sell our 18 month old Enyaq this year due to the increased electricity costs (34p at home and much more on public chargers) coupled with the poor winter range. However the Intelligent Octopus rate of 7.5p is an absolute game changer for us so we are keeping the car. We were lucky t...

Re: Adding the Enyaq to Octopus Intelligent
Once I’d sorted the set up out properly, my car no longer automatically starts charging when I plug it in. As soon as I plug the car in I receive the message on my Ohme app to say charging has been planned for later. No need to manually stop charging. I’m not sure if this is specific to Ohme. I sha...
