Re: Parsimonious ‘Toolkit’

Yep, aware of all that thanks. Don’t like it though. Perhaps I didn’t make the point strongly enough that despite being my most expensive brand new car to date (been motoring 55 years) this one has by far the meanest, most limited, toolkit.

Re: Towing-Maximum Permitted Braked Weight

Right. Many thanks-that is interesting. I’ll be having a discussion with my dealership.

Parsimonious ‘Toolkit’

I yesterday turned my attention to the boot. What a useful, generous, cavernous space it is! Very pleased on that score… But the so called ‘toolkit’? Oh my goodness: a twisted piece of wire for removing the plastic covers from the lug nuts (19mm a/f hex), a substantial towing eye (albeit stamped ‘Ma...

Re: Towing-Maximum Permitted Braked Weight

I am really disappointed that this has not brought forth enlightened replies. Looks like it is a matter of letters to Skoda and DVLA.

Re: Charging en route (Hindsight!)

Thank you for the replies folks. To date our usage has been in dry, warm conditions so we have not used any power greedy, battery sapping features. Speeds have been moderate. Mountains have been neither moved nor ascended. It is early days and my comments are based upon relatively few journeys where...

Charging en route (Hindsight!)

Although to date we have made relatively short trips it is abundantly clear that our 80 Enyaq does not have a range of anything like 333 miles! Given the current clement weather what we are getting at present is probably as good as it gets… So, with the clarity afforded by hindsight and a little bit...

Re: Free upgrade to 20" wheels

H’mmm be aware also that not all dealers are fully conversant with the ‘free’ aspect of this. Our invoice showed-indeed still shows-a £520.00 charge for the 20” wheels. We got it refunded without quibble once we pointed out that the options list clearly showed it as a foc upgrade.

Re: Duration from Order to Uk Delivery - Your Experience?

We took an Enyaq that was ‘at the port of importation’ that was reasonably close to the spec we wanted and is in the quartz grey colour my lady had selected. It arrived before our energy supplier transferred and before our charging point! Relying on a snail cable at present-a week from doing the dea...

Towing-Maximum Permitted Braked Weight

We bought an 80 Iv Suite rather too hastily. One of the plus points that attracted us-me rather than her-to the car was the fact that Skoda promote the car as having a reasonable towing capacity of 1200kg. (The dealership has today reiterated this by email.) It is my understanding that many other el...

New Here

Hello all, new here but otherwise long of tooth. We took possession of our Enyaq 80 Suite ten days ago. It is our first fully electric vehicle so the learning curve is steep!
