Re: Tesla Model Y now available for order in UK

I got the same email and had a look as well. As the Model 3 long range is £48.5k, the Model Y is the sort of price I was expecting. Is it worth £6.5k more for just a different exterior? Not for me, but there are many who will go mad for it. I did not think the Model 3 was anything special when I tes...

Re: 60 range when fully loaded (family road trips!)

A real world range of the 60 is around 200 miles. An uneducated guess would be that when fully loaded and doing motorway speeds, you'd probably get around 160-180 miles per charge. So more than enough to get 2 hours down the road before taking a break and recharging both you and the car. If you down...

Re: Just Ordered Sportline 80x

I've had my SportsLine for 10 days now. One extra I ordered was roof bars (for carrying long things like a ladder) They come with a rubber strip to insert into the bars. has anyone managed this? What sort of lubricant is best? I take it you mean a rubber strip that goes along the top of the bar. I ...

Re: Sportline - interior and Exterior?

Here's a race blue one at my local dealer. It's the only photo I've got of one.
I've ordered a race blue one myself, but with a few options, otherwise I would have snapped this one up.

Re: Tyre Presaure Monitor ?

It's the same system as in other skodas. It's measured by the abs sensors. when it detects a large enough difference in rolling resistance in one wheel, it sets off the alarm.
It is just a monitor, rather than accurate sensors in the wheel.

Re: Feature removal after purchase

Same here, I have a 60 IV with Assisted Drive package and no Traffic Jam Assist in the settings or in the manual that I can see. Traffic jam assist should be automatic with acc, no setting needed. Where the acc matches the speed of the car in front, if that car stops, so do you. If you are stopped ...

Thats more or less standard now anyway. They've recently made 100kw and 125kw charging a mandatory option.

Re: Real installed prices of EV chargers in UK?

I'm in the same boat, but I'm looking at the Andersen. It works out twice as much as the others, but any other charger would stick out like a sore thumb where I live. I've got black wood panelling on the front of my house where the charger would go and Amdersen would almost blend in. It's also neate...

Re: Heat pump

An easy way to see if you have the heat pump fitted would be to check the air con refrigerant sticker under the bonnet. If it says r1234yf, then it's just standard Air conditioning. If it says r700c (or something like that) it will be the heat pump. The heat pump system uses high pressure carbon dio...
