Re: Charging help needed
Jamest If you know your starting SOC you can very roughly. 10% of your battery is 6kw, Charging at 6kw per hour for 4 hours should add 24kwh or 40% and at 7, 28kwh about 43%. If it’s charging at about 4kWh you will only add 16kwh or about 25%. After my last charge I found the car was taking 6.5 kWh ...

Re: Charging help needed
Hi jamest. I have just received an email from Ohme. In my reply to them this morning regarding the successful charge I asked them to check the data held by them about the charge to confirm what rate I was getting. They have now confirmed it was the full 32A the charger is capable of. They also asked...

Re: Charging help needed
Another update and this one positive. My previous update was that Ohme were looking into the 4kw level of charge and promised a fix. Yesterday I received an email from Ohme saying that had applied the fix and to let them know how the next charge went. Last night the car was at 55%, I set the Ohme ap...

Re: Shock horror! My cars fine and does what I expect !
I have been suffering with the reduced home charging issue. This forum has calmed my anxiety as I have found others with identical experiences whilst using an Ohme charger. The response to each of us has been the same and that indicated our concerns are being dealt with. Not being able to work out h...

Re: Door Unlocking
To be fair, even with the instructions above which are clear and simple, I still struggled until I realised the sweeping the screen to the side brought up more panels.
Sometimes you cannot see the obvious even when it’s right in front of you. That was me today!

Re: Charging help needed
Update To confirm Yorkieterrier above. My last timed Ohme charge didn’t work after the ‘tweak’ made to my charger. I only got 4kw charging. My case was referred by Ohme to their CTO in San Francisco on Tuesday. This morning I got a message to say they think a recent update to the car is causing issu...

Re: Charging help needed
The response from Ohme was that tweaks have been made to my particular model which should have fixed the problem. I was asked to report back after my next charge. That will be early next week so I will update both Ohme and this forum. I have to say that Ohme have been very good with a reply to conta...

Re: Charging help needed
Update from yesterday’s post. Pleased to report a successful charge overnight from 48% to 70%. According to Skoda app the charging was at 6.5 kw, the Tesla Powerwall app says 7kw. Either way the car reached its set charge limit of 70% by 0220 having plugged it in at 2335. I am in conversation with O...

Re: Charging help needed
I should have been clearer in my last post that I intend plugging the standard type 2 to type2 cable that comes with the car into the dumb charger tonight and not the Ohme.
