My floor recess is the same as above and won’t take the cable, that’s why we get the container included for it. It is smaller in vRS and I suspect the 80x, or is it smaller in all cars with 80 battery? Usefully fits the tyre pump though. It is wider than that in my standard 80 without the transport...

I've only had the alarm going off if I connect to the ODB dongle with my phone and leave it connected when locking the vehicle. That sets the alarm off after about five minutes.

Mine are very noisy ("whisper bars") if there is nothing mounted on them. As soon as anything is on them they are fine as the air flow is disrupted.

Consumption will of course change, but I can't give you numbers.

It can see my N network but not my AC one, so I suspect it is 2.4 GHz only, not 5 GHz. And that's not a range issue, both are strong where my car is parked.
