Thanks everyone - it was an easy trip. The IONITY charger at Peterborough did what it needed to do whilst we ate, went to the loo etc.
Main issue now will be getting home! Huddersfield doesn’t seem to be that well equipped with fast charging points

Re: Green rectangle on UK EV number plates
post_id=6742 time=1640892434 user_id=618] The green reg. plate 'tabs' also allow emergency services to quickly identify EVs in accidents so they can apply the correct safety & fire procedures. Interesting! Never really thought of that… seems there is more to it. Maybe in a few years the ICE car...

Having all electrics turned off
Apologies if this is a silly/obvious question! We’re about to do our first “long drive” today (Kent to Yorkshire, with a recharging stop at Peterborough). At Peterborough, we’ll have to have a “car picnic” because of the dog, but when we’re all sitting in the car I want to have all the electrics off...

Re: Car/booster seats
You're advised to carry all people under the age of 12 in the rear, but you can legally have a child of 3 or more in the front if they secured in a proper child seat if you want to. If the seat is rear facing you must disable the passenger airbag, if it's front facing you must move the seat back as...

Re: Car/booster seats
Question: I’ve never had a car with front passenger isofix before. Does this mean I can legally (U.K.) put the 4-year-old’s car seat in the front? He would love that!

No cargo net, just the removable plastic divider things that allow you to stash small items in the areas behind the wheel arches.

Re: MyŠKODA - Activate Vehicle
Still nothing as of this morning… Very annoying because I like checking the charge status and pre-heating the cabin from the app! Same here…. I’m putting off re-activating the vehicle, as it did all come back by itself in the past. Thanks for the advice - I’ll do the same and hopefully it’ll just c...

Re: Delivery Charge %
I had 100% too - the dealer spent some time explaining that I *should* get more displayed range after more driving and charging - I think he was preempting any range anxiety!
