Re: Charging at 50% rate?
/\ Sometimes my PodPoint would only deliver 3.4kWh instead of 7kWh if we had lots of other high current things also coming on at exactly 12:30 am (the start of my cheap rate). This is because the PodPoint system limits its output if it sees there’s already a high draw on the system. I got around thi...

Re: Squeaky
/\ - yep, quite a bit. From new up to 26000 miles when I had to give it back. My neighbour actually commented on the noise, which happened every time I reversed out the drive, using the brakes to control the speed.

Re: Hello from potential new owner
Welcome! I’m an ex-Enyaq driver. Had one for just over two years but when I moved to a different company, I had to reluctantly give my Enyaq back to my last company. Currently in a BMW pool car but I tell you what - I can’t wait to get rid of it and order another Enyaq. I had a great experience in m...

Re: How to switch off road speed sign reading with ACC
/\. I agree - it is a bit naff. I regularly had similar experiences on the A3 going towards London where it is generally 50 mph but the system kept reading the 30mph signs for the parallel residential roads and slowing the car to 30 !! Unfortunately I don’t have my Enyaq anymore and I can’t remember...

Re: Tips for new Enyaq / EV owner
I’d recommend adding Auto Hold as one of your shortcuts. Auto Hold is useful when you want the Enyaq to stay still at traffic lights etc, but a bit of a pain when you’re trying to parallel park into a tight space for example and it suddenly slams the brakes on !! (Hence I turn it off when performing...

Re: Just how bad is the range on the motorway (85x)? & Powerpass worth it?
Hi, Just a quick couple of comments based on my experience for 2 years in an 80: At 70 mph in a UK Winter, with the heater on 21C and A/C permanently on to keep the windows clear of mist, I’d get well over 230 miles of motorway range. In the summer, probably around 290 miles. If you’re hard with acc...

Re: No mirror dimming on passenger side wing mirror
Personally I don’t like the wing mirrors dimming at all; I find it can be difficult to see poorly illuminated cyclists going past me in city traffic, when the wing mirror has dimmed at the same time as the rear view mirror. I hope you enjoy your 80 Loft as much as I’ve enjoyed mine over the last 2 y...

Re: Inner Edge Tyre Wear
Hi there - yes, I had a similar experience with the 21” tyres on my Betria alloys. They needed replacing at 17k miles (quite possibly a few thousand miles before this but it was only noticed at 17k that the inner edges had worn down). Disappointing as the rest of the tyre had plenty of life. The tra...

Re: Dealership images of my iV80, pre delivery etc
Happy 2024 folks 🥳 Sadly after just over two years, my Enyaq ‘goes back’ tomorrow as I have moved to a different company. I thought I’d post a final picture taken today to ‘bookend’ this enjoyable journey from start to finish (the first post being photos of the same Enyaq prior to delivery). Since N...
