And the space saver spare in my Kodiaq runs at 60psi and categorically doesn't explode, although it might if I tried driving on it at only 35psi!

How much of a deal? And what terms? Using finance, lease or cash buyer?

Re: Government grant cut

I had wondered why my original thread from back in March had been resurrected - now I see the grant was cut for the second time this year, down from a maximum £2500 contribution to £1500, and the maximum value of the car (before any options) cut from £35k to £32k. Sadly no Enyaq in the UK qualifies ...

Re: Loading edge protection strip

The Enyaq sill bumper protector is currently available at a reduced price of £63.18 on the Skoda Parts website. Available in black or chrome. Just placed my order. Well that's a decent discount as the official Enyaq accessories brochure says it's £90: https://www.skoda.co.uk/_doc/9577dda6-82df-46f6...

Re: Dealer prices

Well my experience was there were no deals to be had in late September/early October on either of the options I was looking at (Kodiaq Sportline 2.0TDi or Enyaq 80X Sportline), so can't imagine there are any to be had now. There was a finance contribution on an Enyaq, although it was only £750 (stil...

Re: Is there a memory card slot for music or

The manual doesn’t say. But it lists the formats it supports (the usual Windows ones). 250GB isn’t that large these days, so probably fine. No, and not too expensive either. Was thinking of one of these to store all my music on: https://smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08BHZ7TY2/?coliid=I2OW7WA2MFDA5J&co...

Does anyone know if there is a maximum size for what you plug in via USB-C? Would a SSD HDD of 250GB work?

Re: Car matts, Loading area protector and Boot liner fir Enyaq

You can get a 15x200cm strip of Luxshield from Amazon and cut it down to the shape/size you need with scissors. Admittedly it doesn't come with the preparation products to apply it, but if you're putting it onto a new(ish) car, then provided you remove any polish, then it ought to stick just fine. C...

Re: Self Sealing Tyres

Picked my new Suite 60 with 20” Vega wheels last week. Within 50 miles had a small nail puncture - tyre sealed with some loss of pressure. Surprised to not to find a small compressor in the ‘toolkit’. Went to my local tyre depot who advised if tyre did not self seal when nail removed it would have ...

Re: The key fob LED flashes when the doors are shut. I wonder why?

My guess is it's something to do with the latest security tech that's built in to the keys and car now. AFAIK Skoda (as part of VAG) have adopted Ultra Wideband (UWB) tech for their KESSY system. It sends a 'time of flight' signal between the key and the car so that the car then knows exactly how fa...
