Re: Trip to the South West from the Midlands

I drive from North Yorkshire to Bude in Cornwall several times a year (my parents used to live in Looe, but now they've moved :) ). My preferred charging locations once you get to Devon is the Ionity at Cullompton (you'll need Powerpass for that), or Gridserve at Exeter (just need a contactless cred...

Re: Infotainment “Favorites” bar? 🤔

There are more spots for favourites within the pulldown bar at the top of the screen, but it's not quite as convenient at the three spots at the bottom.

I stand corrected on not being able to add Carplay - I wasn't sure if it was one of the ones you can't add or not.

Re: 80 vs 85 charging curve?

I guess technically the very first Sportline 80x models (when the Sportline was introduced mid-2021) might be different as they got the 125kW charging option as standard. All of the 2WD 80's had to pay an extra £440 (I know, as I did in Aug 2021). But by November 2021, all 60s got 100kW charging and...

Re: Infotainment “Favorites” bar? 🤔

Not all icons are able to be on the Favourites bar. I have a feeling CarPlay might be one. I’ve got it as a normal icon next to one for the radio. There was a discussion on people’s choice of which three favourites they have. I think ‘heat now’ and ‘navigate home’ are good choices - they’re things u...

Re: Auto-Steer Confusion

Side sensors didn’t exist when I ordered my Enyaq 🙁 But yes - back in 2020/2021 we had a lot more choice in options rather than just the two packs now. So my next Enyaq (end of next year) will probably have to have the Maxx pack to get all the options I’ve been used to for the last three years on my...

Re: Auto-Steer Confusion

Heh - yeah, when I ordered mine (August 2021), the salesperson entered the code from the web configuration thing into their system and said 'oh, it wants to add Weight Class Steering, which costs nothing, but I don't know what that is'. So I let him know that I'd found out what it is (if the options...

Re: Auto-Steer Confusion

Remember that Skoda dealership staff aren't employed by Skoda. What level of training each franchise chooses to give their staff is up to them. Some are better than others.

Re: Problem registering vehicle in Skoda Connect since v3 upgrade - read this

Setting the user up with Skoda Connect and putting their details in as the service location is part of the dealership handover to customer process. However it's quite common for some dealerships to skip items on the list - which is why people have ended up with cars that still have the plastic film ...

Re: Profiles and CarPlay

I don't think there is yet, no. Profiles were only introduced a year or so ago, and there are quite a few things that probably ought to be user specific but aren't saved per profile. But it seems that more and more things get added with each Infotainment software update, so maybe at some point it mi...

Re: Intelligent Octopus or Octopus Go

There are a couple of options, but the easiest one is to disable the device temporarily in the Octopus app. I seem to think there is a bit on the Octopus website about this, as it was something I was wondering about too. In the app, tap on the picture of a person in the top left, then on Devices, In...
