Re: Keyless locking
Also if the car's 12V battery is low it'll disable keyless unlocking. I'm getting this a lot at the moment as I'm not really using the car much and the temperatures are low.

Re: Compatibility of iPhone with Enyaq navigation
Do you mean if you use Apple Maps via CarPlay you get directions on the instrument panel/HUD, but not with Google/Waze? If so that might come down to whether the different applications use the API calls to CarPlay that allow the car's infotainment (and instrument panel/HUD etc) to get the navigation...

Re: Charging above 80%
As I said - check it in the car, as I've seen it on numerous occasions where setting it in the app doesn't update the car.
You used to be able to set it in either location, and the other updates when the app connects. But it seems to be unreliable since they updated the app a year or so ago.

Re: Charging above 80%
Check what the setting is in the car itself - not on the app. Quite often the app will show one thing, but the car another as it hasn't successfully sent the change.

Re: Replacement/additional key
That sounds about right price wise - there's a lot of electronics going on in the Enyaq keyfob. It has an accurate clock, accelerometer, ultrawideband radio etc. When it's in range of the car and not stationary, the car and fob are constantly sending encrypted messages between themselves to determin...

Re: Efficiency - Is this normal? And any tips?
Agreed - if you do journeys of under 20 minutes, you'll never get great efficiency. But once the cabin and battery are warmed up, you can sit at 70mph on cruise control on the motorway with climate control set to something sensible for hundreds of miles and often attain 3.5 mi/kWh in winter (or over...

Re: Charging to 100% on AC
Yeah - so it's good to aim to never let it get that low. :) The only time I'll let it go below 10% is if I know I'm within a few miles of home because I know I can charge there with no issues. If I'm down at 15%, I'm starting to look on Zap-map or similar for any nearby charger, even if it's an AC o...

Re: Charging to 100% on AC
Not really, it's not great for battery health. You'll find car reviewers such as TeslaBjorn have done this for you with press cars so you don't have to. For the Enyaq, I seem to recall that it starts limiting power below about 5% (you can still get to 60mph, but it'll take a lot longer), and when it...

Re: Buying Travel Assist in the App ?
I added the £915 "Assisted Drive Package Plus" option when I built the car spec back in August 2021 (that included Adaptive cruise control. Blind spot detection. Crew protect assist. Traffic jam assist, Emergency assist. Lane assist plus). Back then there was a much larger range of option ...

Re: opinions please
Octopus Intelligent is far more reliable if you connect it to your charger rather than the car. Of course that relies on you having a supported charger (eg OHME, Zappi etc). Agree on the point above - granny chargers aren't really meant to be used as your main method of charging (which is why Skoda ...
