Constant whurring / humming sound

Hi all,

Have any of you encountered this before… My Enyaq has recently started creating a humming / whurring sound when parked up. It continues for hours and hours after last use. This is with the keys put a distance away from the car, without auto-on aircon settings etc.

I’m a bit flummoxed as I can’t see why it’s doing it suddenly with no settings changes or changes in charging habits!

This-or something very similar-has happened with my car (and others). Search the forum-from memory there is a reset button that’ll clear it. Very annoying/concerning noise!

Is it not the battery-cooling fan; something more likely to be needed in this warmer weather?

My fans are sometimes on after I’ve parked after a long journey - although I don’t think it’s for hours.
