Got a "Low Battery" warning ths morning, Read manual and fitted new battery, Key dead, Tries another battery, still dead, Put back original battery and it still works. Ordered brand new Panasonic battery from Amazon. I'll see what thatb one does.
Car is 19 months old woth about 12k on the clock.

Replaced fob battery at circa 18000 miles shortly before chopping original Enyaq in. Should have rotated the two keys but didn’t… with VRS am now keeping key(s) in Faraday pouches which will hopefully enhance both security and battery life.

18 months and still going. I keep our keys in a small tin* by the front door - the flashing stops as soon as I put them in the tin.

* the tin needs to make electrical contact with the lid. I used a dot punch (a blunt nail will do) to put pips around the top of the tin to make sure it has good contact.
