I think I must have the world record for the fastest drive error fault.
Car arrived this morning with 6miles on the clock.
Courier drove the car off the trailer and I drove it 50metres and got the famous "Error Drive System: please visit workshop"
I'd had it less than half an hour.
What is usually the underlying cause and dangers of this error?
Is it safe to drive?
What is the fix?
I'm being told to get Skoda assist out on the day of delivery. Sigh.
Drive System Error
all you can do is either scan it for codes yourself or get skoda assistance out. Given its brand new, probably best letting Skoda deal with it...
In theory if its a yellow fault, its not a dangerous issue.
I've heard some mentions of water pump faults on new cars, maybe its that?

Techs coming out tomorrow. It was made 2 months ago and has done 6 mile. Could a 12v battery reading at rest of 12.28 be an issue?

Went out on a drive for 15 miles late this afternoon. hour after return battery is 13.22v at rest. Plus we’ve had no errors since this morning when it happened about ten times.

Basic 85. They’ve even dropped the drive modes and regen paddles that were on the basic 80. It’s still nice though. I got it 229 days after I put my lease order in.fatman wrote: ↑Wed Feb 07, 2024 9:01 pmi am waiting my car ....can you say what you got etc sportline 85?spinna1969 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 07, 2024 8:14 pm Went out on a drive for 15 miles late this afternoon. hour after return battery is 13.22v at rest. That would be quite irritating without the drive modes... I find Eco-Assist off with two clicks of regen the optimal balance of predictability and usability, without drive mode select I presume you only have the ability to switch Eco-Assist off (giving no regen at all in D) or using B mode, which is a little too aggressive for me.
Eco-Assist i found horribly unpredictable, with varying levels of regen when you lift off the throttle meaning you were never quite sure what it was going to do.

I'd be lost without the paddles. I think I now have an addiction.
Enyaq 80 Suite, Race Blue, Panoramic Sunroof, 20" Vega Alloys and a silly overpriced rubber mat for the boot.
