After a few days of getting flashed at and having the full led upgrade light pack I went into setting to see that it was set to right hand drive and selected left hand drive , now it’s gone back just like other drive mode settings etc and will not go back has anyone else had this problem

If you have Matrix headlights do they not react to oncoming traffic regardless of which side of the road you are driving on?

Yes, but they do try to bias the high beam towards the left if driving on the left as the logic expects traffic to pass to the right (and vice versa if you set it to drive on the right). My understanding is that changing the setting doesn't actually alter the beam pattern at all, just how the system behaves, driven by the cameras at the top of the windscreen.

@C2atb, have you tried a reboot of the infotainment system? I don't have an Enyaq, but most other systems involves pressing and holding the power button until it reboots. Some systems it can take 3 consecutive goes of doing this to actually reset things to factory settings. Worth a try?

Makes sense, thanks.

Mine keeps defaulting to Driving on the right. Dealer tried to tell me that this is a translation issue and that what they mean is 'oncoming traffic on the right' and therefore 'Driving on the right' is the correct setting. Went on to say that they tested the beam dip and it was dipping correctly for LH driving. I'm not sure I believe a word of that and am constantly resetting to driving on the left. Perhaps this is another issues that a software update will address.

Mine was initially set up for driving on the right but I was able to change it in settings and it has stayed that way so far.

Same issue. Sportline 80 with matrix LEDs. Everytime I get back in the car and check the setting it's reverted to 'Driving on the right.

I'm pretty sure it should be set to 'Driving on the left' for UK as when you toggle it you can see the lights (if say pointing at a garage wall) shift from right to left and vice versa.

Anyone managed to get it to stick on 'left'?

I’m sure this has been discussed before and it’s a poor translation. When you go to change the setting it is ‘traffic on the right’ - which is correct, as the approaching traffic is on the right of the car.

I believe it sets based on the car’s location, so if in a country where they drive on the left, it will set itself to ‘traffic on the right’ - which the main title is ‘driving on the right’ which isn’t the correct words.

Mine is also set to ‘driving on the right’ and the beam pattern in thick fog the other week seems correct.
