Does anyone know where the sensor is which dims the driver’s door mirror?

I’d like to block it if possible.

I find door mirrors that dim, to be dangerous (previous experience years ago in central London when my door mirror had dimmed so much, I nearly took out a poorly lit cyclist who’d become completely invisible due to the mirror getting so dark. I’ve always thought they’re a stupid, dangerous invention!)

It's normally on the rear view mirror, center at the bottom some cars it's visible others it's not.

On mine, it is just a reactive film that is mounted on both driver side wing mirror and rear view mirror, look closely on the mirror, you can possibly see the film edge about 2-3mm from the edge from the actual mirror edge
