That’s what I thought seeing as someone else mentioned a different brand on their car.

I’ve spoken to Skoda again and managed to source a tyre for tomorrow, but for some reason they can’t stick it on the wheel until Friday at the earliest so I’m going to collect the tyre and run it round to Kwikfit around the corner from me to sort it.

Thanks for all the replies guys, been lost without the car for 2 days 😭

Sorry for the hassle you've had. Do you know what caused the puncture? And do you know why it couldn't be saved?

No idea what caused the puncture. Normal road I drive down every other day, no noise heard or bump felt.

No warning from tyre pressure monitor, just felt juddering from the flat tyre.

Couldn’t be saved because the there was a huge piece of tread missing and a huge hole.

OK, thanks for replying. I'm just wondering if we'll see more flats from EVs because they are so heavy compared to similar-sized ICE's. I was also wondering why the self-sealing didn't work but as you've said, too much damage.

My ‘ self sealing ‘ tyre lost pressure even with just a small nail in it, and when removed did not seal - personally would rather have normal tyres with a compressor because at least there is a better chance they can be plugged. Might just be the state of the roads - suffered two blowouts due to potholes on my UP GTI, in the last 6 months, plus Enyaq within 50 miles of delivery.

After reading this thread, I'm wondering what kind of roadside assistance is included as standard on the Enyaq and how long for? My dealer never mentioned this to me when I picked my Enyaq up.

There might be a leaflet with the manual in the glove compartment?

Yes - there is a leaflet and the phone numbers to call in the glovebox. Dealer should have explained this to you on collection as it's part of the handover process.
