Hi everyone
Got my Enyaq on 22nd December
After waiting since July 26th
Well after driving for 111 miles in total.
It's broken down.
It's getting taken into garage today as car won't go into D or R.
Had technician out at house but couldn't fix it
Gutted is an understatement
It's problem states Electric drive not working.
Anyone else have this issue?

Good luck with getting it resolved. Hopefully it’s something straight forward to fix once they find the cause. I wonder if the dealerships have dedicated EV technicians yet?

Keep us posted.

They will have. Don't forget Skoda have been selling PHEV models for a couple of years. The Enyaq is just their first model that doesn't have a combustion engine as well as a battery and motor.
Enyaq iV 80 Sportline, Energy Blue, Assisted Drive Plus, Infotainment Plus, Convenience Plus, Comfort Seat Plus, Transport Pack, Heat Pump, ME3.2, Built Nov 2021.

Update on car
I have been told today that my car has battery issues.
Technicians don't know how many.
It is now getting taken a hour away by trailer to get batteries taken out and possibly replaced.
The dealers don't know how long this will take.
So in the meantime I have a courtesy car.
I'm not sure if I want to wait for it to rectified I have 30 days from new to reject the car.
What's your thoughts?

It's your call at the end of the day, I would want to know what cause the battery issues in the first place was it a pack or was it a BMS issue etc.

mine is going in next Thursday to have an airbag error looked at could be a quick fix or could need parts it's not the best start we got ours on 23rd and have covered 411 miles when the fault appears on it.

Personally I wouldn’t accept the car back - you don’t want one that’s been fiddled around with by inexperienced engineers. I don’t mean to dismiss their capabilities but no one outside the actual Skoda factory can yet be ‘experienced’ with replacing Enyaq batteries - it’s way too new.

This is true but bare in mine Accident Repair garages now have full qualified EV tech whom work on anything from a leaf to a Taycan so the experience is out there of you go to the right place, this would also need to be sanctioned from Skoda/VW as doubt the garage would be allowed to do it on a wim.

I've been told it's going to a specialised VW facility .
My wife primarily drives the car as she works night shift as a care worker.
Now she is worried that this could happen again.
I drive an old Peugeot estate and its done over 100k and never misses a beat.
The point being its soured our experience from being so excited after getting the car after waiting 5 months to seeing it getting taken away on the back of a AA truck after only driving 111 miles.

If you do take it back I’d demand an extension of the 30 day period - atleast another 30 days from the date you get it back and ideally more.

Would take it back and do the above, try doing as much millage as you can and get the battery depleted and recharged as much as possible.
