Hello every one my name is Peter and I’m currently driving dare I say it A MG5 Excite On a 72 plt , but due to certain things like the seating position and mother difficulty in getting in and it’s got to go
Luckily the dealer I brought it off also has a Skoda franchise so looking at an Enyaq instead , used or new but no older than my MG
Hoping you guys can recommend best model
I only do about 70 miles a week as I’m a truck driver so car is parked up most week days
Trim spec not fussed , same with power , but rather not have the sun roof
And bad point or good points
What’s Skoda serving costs like ?
Any one else had a MG5 and swapped ? What’s your thoughts
Soon to be new owner

Yep new as the finance offer being 0% looks very tempting , but will be looking at a march pick up if I go that route so it would have a 25plt

I've just taken delivery of my enyaq 50 edition, like you I do little mileage and it's a second car anyway.
I find the 50 perfect the range isn't great but I don't need it to be.
It's not the most powerful but it's still does 0 to 62 in under 8 seconds, fast enough for me.
Comes with heated seats, heated steering wheel, cameras parking assist all the safety extras, triple zone climate control, automatic boot, automatic lights wipers etc, air conditioning, the automatic cruise control, comfort seats, tinted windows, same infotainment system as all the other models as well as the same driving modes I didn't bother paying out for any extras like the heat pump because I have a free charging point done by the council not far away so I just use that when it's available. Cost me £5000 less then the s-line model, the bigger wheels would have been nice but the 19s that are on it are super comfy.
Only had it 3 weeks and I've only done about 400 miles but it's one of the best cars I've ever experienced and I've just about tried or owned most of them at one point or another.
Puts my 2022 Merc C class to shame, Skoda have proper up their game with this model and I reckon you're going to be proper happy with it whichever when you get. Good luck.

Nice colour choice.
We have had our 80 for nearly a month and it's been brilliant bar two things...
1.Keyless Entry. Hit and miss when it wants to work, so disabled it. It's a click away on the key fob so not sure id be bothered with it.
2.Only once the screen went mental with lines all over it. Locked the car and has never happened since.
That's it, charging point set up was a bit of a faff. However hasn't missed a beat charging.
Don't worry about the Skoda app once you have registered the car.
So I'm hoping everything will be fine from now on. Enjoy your car when you get it in a few months.
