New member from across the pond

Greetings from Ireland

Just ordered a new ENYAQ 60 SportLine in Brilliant Silver. They gave us a delivery date for the end of March, but we'll see how that goes.

It will be replacing the wife's car a SEAT Tarraco 7S XC 1.5 TSI, so not a huge change brand. This will be our first experience with an electric car, all our previous cars have been petrol except for one diesel which I absolutely hated. Hopefully our electric experience is a bit better.

Coming from a SEAT I was surprised at how poor the spec was on the Skoda. I had originally added the driver assist pack but it put me outside the max price threshold for the EV tax rebate here in Ireland. So even though it was priced at 800 it was actually costing me over 2000, which wasn't worth it in my opinion. Below is the build sheet.

Enyaq 60 Sportline, Brilliant Silver
20” Vega anthracite alloy wheels
Parking pack
Drive sport pack
Family pack
Climate pack
Convenience plus pack
Light & View pack

Is there any members on here that have a Sportline in brilliant silver? If so I would love to see some photos, as I haven't been able to find many online.

Cheers

Welcome 👍
Wait another sec - they get a 60 Sportline?

Not available here in the UK - 80 or 80X only for the Sportline.

Really, it's probably because the 60 will be more popular than the 80 here, due to the 80 falling outside the threshold for the tax rebate.

Makes sense, but since they cut the incentive here in the UK, I doubt a 60 Sportline would qualify anyway unless they somehow made the Sportline trim an option on a standard 60 model (not currently the case though).

What's the Craic Susan's dad, I'm down the opposite end in Cork. Good to hear you got yourself an early Xmas present. How long were you waiting?

Ha ha. Yes I ordered on 21 July and it arrived a couple of days ago. Just being prepped by the dealer then we are off to Scotland on 3rd for a weekend so I will post with a photo of how it has performed
