Just charged to 100% ready for a long trip tomorrow. I was somewhat surprised to see the milage of 351 miles.

In comparison I did an 80% last night which gave me 162 miles which would be circa 200 for 100%.

That looks like the app has got Km mixed up with miles. 351km would be 220 miles. That’s exactly what my 60 is showing on 100pct right now.

@Helljock - that’s incredible for a 60 !!
What sort of driving have you been doing over the last few hundred miles ( and roughly how many miles / kWh have you been achieving?)

Last week in Cornwall, whilst pottering around narrow country lanes, I achieved an average of 7.1 miles / kWh on a 5 mile journey (which I assume indicates my range would have been around 540 miles, had I done nothing else other than the same type of driving around those same roads all day).

I notice you have a heat pump, too….

Being retired I'm rarely in a hurry so normally drive at 50 mph on single track roads and depending on my mood 5 or 10 mph below the speed limit on dual carriageways. I also drive in D and use the paddles except in town, when I use B.

Given what we know about heat pumps now (especially as information was lacking a year ago), and with all things being equal regarding journey type, driving style, temperature etc, I wonder if an iV60 with a heat pump, will actually give the same range (or better) than an iV80 which doesn’t have a heat pump, especially over longer journeys which are where I understand heat pumps start to have an effect?

I doubt the heat pump could improve a 60 range that much unless you drive in a completely flat and favourable conditions.

Guess-O-Meter Seema to go off your last 200/300 miles in my experience. Family trip away fully loaded can with bikes on roof fully charged after the return was only 126miles prior to that trip we got roughly 180/190.

Just a reminder that this is *predicted* range not achieved range. I wouldn't count on this one being accurate if you're relying on it.

I can’t even be bothered to comment about the estimated range shown after charging any more. If I let it coast down a long hill for 5 miles then switch off and charge it, I’m sure I could see more than 400 miles. But it doesn’t mean anything unless you’re moving.

This is why I asked Helljock what type of driving they’d done prior to having an estimated range of 351 miles, and why I pointed out that if I continued to drive in exactly the same manner - and on the same route - as I did when I got 7.1 m/kWh over a 5 mile round trip, I may well have exceeded 540 miles from a full charge. Very unique conditions mind, and not typical of where I normally drive.
