Demo pricing madness
Just been looking at used Enyaqs, and thought the same and with the delivery issues as they are I'm guessing that cancelled orders will eventually pop up at inflated prices.
Ordered 26 March 22, Sportline 80, Graphite grey, Assisted Drive+, Infotainment Package+, Drive Sport+, Heat Pump. Zappi charger, delivered 17 Aug 22,

Personally I've never wanted a car so badly I'm willing to pay overs knowing at some point true values will return.

It's a very common advertising practice, as it ensures you keep your paid for advertising slots filled with items that although themselves might not be what people go on to buy, it draws them to your website/shop where they might find something else, and it refreshes the company name in people's minds. By putting a flashy or interesting product in the advert it gets attention, even if the bulk of what you'll actually sell are more mundane items.
