For those of you who has owned the enyaq for a couple of years now, is there any noticable battery degradation?

Nope. And judging from the high mileage ID forums it's pretty much a non-issue for 99% of people. Things have certainly moved on in battery technology and management since the days of my old Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV where some people were getting noticeable degradation. Mine was actually still at over 90% SOH when I sold it though.

Good to know. Just reading up about Lithium Cobalt and Lithium Phosphate chemistry online.

Most resources says Li-Co are upto 500 cycles before replacement and Li-Po are over 3000 cycles.

If 500 cycles are the number then that’s 150,000 miles. Which seems to be a small mileage for a complete battery replacement. Anyway the car has 100,000milles or 8yr battery warranty to SOH 70% so that’s reassuring.

I’m not worrying about it , I won’t be keeping car forever . It’s not one of those cars you do and even with a little degradation of battery I don’t think it will affect the sale price . However to be honest I would never buy a EV that’s out of manufacture warranty . It will be interesting to see what happens in the future.

From 2025, all EVs in the EU will have to be fitted with a battery SOH (State of Health) meter. International battery degradation limits for EVs are currently under discussion.

Any way to monitor battery health apart from noticing a reduced range when charged full to 100%?
Or does the 80% charge mileage reduce as its 80% of max charge battery will now take?
My iPhone now says 99% for battery health for example.

I asked how to get the battery status and they say I need a report from the official workshop. I also asked for the price and no answer yet...
