It can be (is) claimed when order placed & takes effect immediately. Dealers are able to register any sales made in the last seven day s at the old rates, but new sales going forward will only benefit from the new figures. I haven’t checked but I think IV60 now too expensive to qualify? If so, will be interesting to see if Skoda tweak the basic spec & reduce the price to get under the new limit.

Immediately, that's harsh. I can only see prices increasing with full order books and inflation as it is. The question for me is, where the bloody hell is their ID3? - would have thought a smaller car now more of a priority than the coupe Enyaq.

Makes sense but put into practice immediately for probably hundreds of people just ready to place an order must be hard to swallow and unnecessary.

The Gov did warn of no notice changes to the grant, but the cynical amongst us might suggest it’s just “burying bad news in amongst other bad news at a time of crisis”!

No doubt your right but I think they will fail in this day and age. Constant party Memes aren't going away soon and a few within the party want blood and a big shake up.

@metalmadhammer, I forgot about the recent price increase when I suggested that they might tweak the spec, so yes I agree Enyaq is unlikely to qualify for a grant in the future.

Just priced up my spec on current configurator and the price is now £41,000+! I paid a little over £37,000 for July order.

I had wondered why my original thread from back in March had been resurrected - now I see the grant was cut for the second time this year, down from a maximum £2500 contribution to £1500, and the maximum value of the car (before any options) cut from £35k to £32k.

Sadly no Enyaq in the UK qualifies any more, even the iV60.

Ho hum.
