Not that I was going to choose it anyway, but has anyone else noticed that the 'crystal face' illuminated grille is not actually available to choose as an option on the car configurator (I checked on the German and Czech Skoda websites too), and it seems to have quietly disappeared from all the recent videos Skoda have put out too?

I wonder if it's been relegated to a 'coming soon' or whether it fell foul of lighting regulations or something?

I thought it was a special feature of the First Edition?

On the earlier videos from Skoda they said customers would be able to choose it as an option, with no mention of it being specific to the First Edition. To be fair, I don't really like it anyway but just was interested to see that the dealer websites are still making a big thing about it, but in reality you can't actually have it.

As an aside we're starting to see independent reviews (in Czech and German) appear on YouTube now, so hopefully it won't be long before normal spec cars will start making their way to the UK, if only for journalists to review ahead of customer orders being delivered. Still yet to see a right hand drive one - even the UK brochure only has left hand drive photos.

I heard from my dealer that it was probably going to be available on MY 2022 cars, which can be ordered from August?
It also says it is not available on initial orders (in very tiny letters) on the current digital brochure - even though it was on the UK configurator until January at least.
It was included in the Light and View package Plus, which has now disappeared. The difference between the Plus and the current Basic Light and View package was £545 - ie the price of the Crystal Face

Thanks - that explains it. I won't be ordering until around August anyway, as I need a bit of time to save up the extra £3000 to replace the loss of the grant. Might be interesting to see what other options start to make an appearance around then.

Yesterday i did the Enyaq Live Tour with Skoda UK, i did ask about the illuminated grille as i like the gimmick of it
Was advised that its been removed from options due to technical issues but it seems the rollout of the Enyaq isn't going well with no right hand drives yet produced & Skoda UK only have a pre-production Flounders Edition to show via live tour. I asked about availability to view in UK dealers to be advised its looking like June now and the illuminated grille will probably not be available to order until into 2022.

Yes, but be thankful the Enyaq doesn't look like one - a face only a mother could love!!!
