New car delivery times

Hi everyone, I'm new here so please be patient. I ordered an Enyaq on 15th October 2024 & was initially told the end of that month. A week later I received an email from Digital File & Motability Scheme telling me my car was ready to collect on 31st October 2024. However, I was misinformed by them both & the dealership and I'm still waiting. The dealership person I'm dealing with said at the time that they had an order of Enyaqs currently on its way to the UK. The shipment was, at the time, according to her, between Switzerland & Germany & so definitely on the way. I've been waiting for an electric vehicle now since the beginning of September 2024 as I initially ordered a Peugeot from Wingrove that was actually in the showroom, but after waiting ages for a microphone for the media system, I subsequently cancelled that one and went to Skoda after looking around.
I'm a bit confused as I've not been told anything about order & build dates & time's.
Any one with any news, please enlighten me. Thank you.

I ordered via mobility early September.

I've been recovering emails from mobility scheme telling me they have no news but not to worry.

My Skoda dealership never gave me a specific date of delivery, just a estimate of some time December or early January. As it was a standard build I still think its a waiting game.

Best thing is to keep in contact with your dealership as they will be the one's in touch when the car is being delivered.

My dealer said that he is waiting confirmation but the build week for mine is Week 3 which is Mid Jan next year.

Ordered Enyaq Coupe Edition 85 - Black- Suite- Maxx- 20" silver alloys on 3 Aug 24. Week 32.
Got telephone / email update on 6 September 24.
Original build week 47 now week 48.( Nov 25th -Dec 1) MY25
Takes 4 weeks to transport to UK.
Probably looking at delivery in new year.( total 5 months if all goes well)

Update 24 September 24. Build week brought forward to week 46 (Nov 11- 17)

Update from dealer on Tuesday 22 Oct.
Build week now locked to Week 46. Will get weekly updates then.
Hopefully might get it before Christmas.

Was supposed to be built this week beginning 11 November (W46) but hasnt been built!
Has no idea when it will be built as their Skoda website updater only says "with production order"
He will update me Friday 22 Nov 24.
Does anyone know if the Skoda factory in the Mlada Boleslav, Czech Republic works weekends or 9-5 Mon-Fri like most local businesses?

It is now showing on the Skoda system as built and in transit from Czech. Should be here between the next 3-5 weeks.

Update 01 Dec 2024 = transit code 38- at port of exit and released for shipping- awaiting a vessel to transit it to UK (Port of Tyne). Still supposed to be 3-5 weeks.

The Dealer is giving me monthly updates till code 20 and then weekly updates with a short video clip of the screen of their skoda management system from code 30 ( left factory). The production and transit codes are visible on the screen next to my order number.
The codes are as follows:

Status code Description
00 Assigned to factory, no production week scheduled
10 Production week assigned to the vehicle, but could change
20 Production week confirmed / in production (has still been known to change)
30 Vehicle in transit from the factory
36 Vehicle in port of exit, not released
38 Vehicle in port of exit, released for shipping
39 Vehicle shipped
40 Vehicle arrived in port of destination country
50 Vehicle tranferred to alternative port
60 Vehicle in transit to dealer
70 Vehicle with dealer
80 Vehicle returned to port

Hello and greetings. I ordered an 85 yesterday in metallic grey. My dealer put the ETA at 14 weeks, which should be mid march but I have a feeling it may click into April to bolster their April sales for a 25 plate. Who knows, but he showed me the lead time update page, and Enyaqs this week had come down by a week to 14 weeks. Which I suppose is good news. Mine is a totally stock order no extra bells and whistles so I did ask if there are any cancellations to hit me up.

I had a Honda on order earlier in the year and had the order cancelled as they could not fulful the quantity of motability orders, so i've been shafted once already this year. I don't want to order any accessories until I get the keys in my hand.

I’ve just ordered my new VRS yesterday and have been estimated at 16-20 week lead time and they have said around may 2025… is this right? How long have people been waiting for their new cars? Cheers Sam
