I have "Assisted Lane Changing" active in the Travel Assist Menu under Assistance Systems and "Lane Assist" active.
These are the only Infotainment items I have found so far which may be relevant.
.

iV80 Loft, 19"Regulus, Energy Blue, Maxx Pack, Travel Pack, Heat pump. Order Jul22. BuildWk17-23. UK WE23/6. Available 30/6/23. Collected 3/7/23 Untethered PodPoint. Third Rock mode 2 charger with Tough Leads modular extension lead and adapters.
Assisted lane change isn't related (I don't have that on my pre-2022 car, as there are no side sensors).
Enyaq iV 80 Sportline, Energy Blue, Assisted Drive Plus, Infotainment Plus, Convenience Plus, Comfort Seat Plus, Transport Pack, Heat Pump, ME3.2, Built Nov 2021.
In Infotainment Assistants section i have Lane assistant and ACC enabled, no any word about Travel assist. Only button on a wheel engages TA after main ACC lever is on. iV80 with PLUS package (above Clever) which includes Assisted Drive Plus package and ME3.5.
No luck changing behaviour yet pressing buttons on a wheel and logging on/off.

I don’t know if I have travel assist or not on my otherwise highly specced vRS?
If I exceed 40mph the lane assist is always there and has to be turned off manually after each start. I just put up with it but have permanently turned off vibration and other option which do stay off.
Acc lever just turns acc on and off.
I had lane assist in previous Karoq and that could guide the car down a lane on its own quite smoothly, but the Enyaq version is nowhere near as good at staying in lane centre, very jerky at best, and I would never trust it to steer the car safely?

There are two levels of lane assistance - one is the basic level that's mandatory on most new cars. That's really only there to stop you drifting out of lanes on motorways. The other is Travel Assist, which works one most roads with white lines on both sides (sometimes it's not bad when there's just a centre line), and aims to keep you in the centre of the lane. It's really meant for motorways and larger roads, but it's not bad on smaller ones too, as long as you're ready to catch it when it drops out where markings are poor or the corners are too tight (having the HUD option helps here, as it's easier to tell when it's no longer steering).
I use Travel Assist a huge amount of the time, I like it gently steering, almost like having a second person just hinting that you ought to be steering. If you hold the steering wheel loosely (but still actively moving it), it just provides an extra bit of assistance that makes driving more relaxing. Also on long motorway trips it allows you to briefly take both hands off the wheel to open a bag of peanuts if you need to, but that's not really what it's for - it's Level 2 autonomy, not self driving (but it can give a pretty good approximation to that at times).

Strange, on my iv80 I find TA to be extremely smooth and keeps the car perfectly centered. Lane assist however just stops you going off the road like the safety rails in 10 pin bowling.Ken3966 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 03, 2023 8:39 am I don’t know if I have travel assist or not on my otherwise highly specced vRS?

It looks like in the configurator it comes with the advanced package for the coupé vRS - which also gives you the Canton sound system and heads up display...
So, are you sure?

Yes my car was specced before packs introduced and only seems to just have acc, even though it has adjustable suspension, canton, hud, and heated windscreen and rear seats

Add me to the list of those that cannot default to Travel Assist being active. If I disengage the cruise control lever and then engage again the system defaults to adaptive cruise control, I have to press the button on the steering wheel to activate travel assist again....
Just been on away for a week in York on holiday- the more I use it the more I like it, both on and off the motorway - great for queues - totally agree with Rich - allows you to quickly to open a bag, albeit Allsorts rather than healthy peanuts in my case...
