Stop rear cabin lights coming on at night?

Just got back from a lengthy trip with my daughter asleep in the back of the car, hoping to transition her straight to bed without waking.

Car stops, and all the cabin lights come on, with the rear ones shining right in her face… any ideas how to turn this off and stop this from happening?

We had exactly the same issue. Annoying as if you dim them it comes on full brightness again when you open door. Only way we have found is to turn off the lights completely on the panel in front of the front interior lights.
