I already have the digital dash, central screen and head up display.
Only new things here are moving the gear selector, which is a good idea, and the rotary dials presumably are easier to use than a touch screen. It would be easier to grip a dial and use it than try to touch a spot on a screen whilst at the same time driving a car and looking at road ahead.
Main reason we discounted getting a Tesla.

Classic.
This ground braking update must have been the reason, what has kept all the coders busy for the last 2 years. Why focus on promised updates on current fleet, when you can design exciting buttons.

I would rather have lower prices than gimmick drive selectors.

Tesla rumoured to be cutting prices in their new model 3 due to cheaper batteries. I wonder if that will trickle through to the rest of EV OEM

Wait - Skoda are claiming that these "customisable rotary push-buttons with digital displays offer a fresh approach to intuitive operation" ?!?

They'll be claiming they've just invented a round thing that they're going to call a "wheel" next.

and of course, the idiot who came up with turning the word 'knob' into 'customisable rotary push button' will be paid more than the guy who wrote the code.
